18th of September: 18th of September: private day trip from Granada to the Mediterranean costa tropical to photograph its coastal landscapes, to visit a tropical fruit plantation and to visit the picturesque town of Frigiliana with lunch there

9am: meet your personal local host at your accommodation in Granada and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to the Mediterranean Costa Tropical. Along the way, your host, who grew up in the area, will give you some general information about the history, geography, landscape, economy and overall character of the place in order to set the context for your stay there.

10am: upon arrival to the Costa Tropical, your host, who is a also a photographer will take you to some selected spots to photograph the rugged coastal landscapes of the area, which feature pine forests, cliffs and turquoise Mediterranean waters.

11:15am: after your exploration of the best viewpoints for photographs, you will arrive to a private farm (12 Hectares) that grows tropical fruits. There you will be welcomed by the owners, who will show you the different plantations to later welcome you into their farm estate (which overlooks the plantations and the Mediterranean Coast) for a comprehensive tasting of different fresh tropical fruits. During the tasting you will learn about different ways to prepare and eat these fruits as well as about recipes that you can prepare with them.

12:30pm: after your visit to the farm, be transferred to the picturesque village of Frigiliana.

12:50pm: upon arrival to Frigiliana, enjoy a private walking tour of the old town with a special focus on its history, iconic economic activity (sugarcane honey), countless quaint corners, whitewashed streets and unbeatable Mediterranean charm.

2pm: after your tour of Frigiliana, you will be taken for lunch in a selected local restaurant in the village.

3:30pm: after lunch, reconnect with your driver and be transferred back to your hotel in Granada.

4:30pm: arrival to your hotel in Granada and end of services for the day.

The cost of this bespoke day for a private party of 2 pax is 890 Euros

This price includes
– Private transportation in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle with a dedicated driver throughout the day (7,5h).
– Personal local host from Genuine Andalusia (a knowledgeable, personable, kind, flexible and interactive fully licensed guide with a great command of the English language, who is also a photographer and videographer) throughout the day.
– Private visit to a private farm of tropical fruits with the owners including a tour of the farm and a tasting of selected tropical fruits with explanations about how to prepare and eat the fruits and about different recipes that you can prepare with them.
– Petrol and parkings.
– All taxes.

This price excludes
– Lunch: your personal local host will take you for lunch to a local restaurant in Frigiliana suited to your taste but the cost of lunch is not included.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this day trip we require full payment no later than the 2nd of September 2023 via credit/debit card.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour program between 20 and 8 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 50% of the full cost of the tour program.
– If you cancel your tour program between 7 and 3 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 75% of the full cost of the tour program.
– If you cancel your tour program between 2 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour program.
