Bespoke Cadiz shore excursion to Jerez and Arcos de la Frontera | 16th of October | 2 pax

9am: meet your personal local host at the port of Cadiz and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle with a dedicated driver to the whitewashed hilltop town of Arcos de la Frontera. Explanations along the way about the history, landscape, customs and overall character of Southernmost continental Spain.

9:40am: upon arrival to Arcos de la Frontera, enjoy a private walking tour of the old town with a special focus on its combination of grand historic buildings and houses of traditional architecture. Understanding of its most representative traditions and of what life on the frontier between the Christian kingdom of Castilla and the Hispanic-Mulsim kingdom of Granada was like in the middle ages. To finish you will be taken to the most scenic viewpoints in town.

11am: reconnect with your driver and be transferred to the city of Jerez de la Frontera.

11:30am: arrival to Jerez de la Frontera and short introductory tour of the old town with a special focus on its foundation during the Hispanic-Muslim times and on the transformations that it experienced in the 13th century with the Christian conquest and later in the 18th an 19th centuries when the local wines (sherries) became probably the most fashionable drinks in the world.

12pm: end of your tour of Jerez in a selected sherry bodega and private visit aimed at learning about he making and aging of the different types of sherry. This will be followed by the corresponding tastings.

1:20pm: reconnect with your driver and be transferred back to the port of Cadiz.

2pm: arrival to the port of Cadiz and end of services for the day.

Price of this bespoke day trip for a private group of 2 people: 940 Euros

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this tour we require a 30% deposit of the grand total via credit/debit card no later than the 5th of September 2024. The final 70% must be paid via the same method no later than 15 days prior to the start of the tour.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour more than 15 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge the 30% deposit only.
– If you cancel your tour between 15 and 10 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 50% of the full cost of the tour and we will refund the other 50%.
– If you cancel your tour between 9 and 4 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 75% of the full cost of the tour and we will refund the other 25%.
– If you cancel your tour 3 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration, activities and services included in the tour.
