27th of November 2025: private Cadiz shore excursion

8:15am: meet your personal local host at the port of Cadiz and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minibus with a dedicated driver to the whitewashed hilltop town of Zahara de la Sierra.

9:30am: arrival to Zahara de la Sierra and private walking tour of the old town aimed at enjoying its traditional Southern Spanish charm and to learn about its history and evolution from a fortified settlement on top of a rock to a more spread-out rural village. During the tour you may also want to walk to the top of its Moorish castle, which offers not only very representative evidence of the Hispanic-Muslim medieval configuration of the town, but also beautiful views of the nearby lake of Zahara – El Gastor.

10:30am: after your visit to Zahara de la Sierra, reconnect with your driver and be transferred to a selected olive oil manufacturer in the area.

10:40pm: arrival to the olive oil mill and private visit aimed at learning about the production of extra virgin olive oil from the harvest of the olives to the final product. This will be followed by the corresponding tastings of different types of extra virgin olive oil and by a country lunch prepared with produce from the surrounding farms.

1:40pm: end of lunch and private transfer back to the port of Cádiz

3pm: arrival to the port of Cadiz and end of services for the day.

Price of this bespoke shore excursion for a private party of 8 pax: 1650 Euros

– Personal local host from Genuine Andalusia (a knowledgeable, personable, kind, flexible and interactive fully licensed guide).
– Private visit to a selected olive oil manufacturer with the corresponding tastings there.
– Private lunch at the olive oil manufacturer.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this bespoke shore excursion we require a 30% deposit of the grand total no later than the 16th of October 2025 via credit/debit card. The final 70% must be paid no later than 15 days prior to the start of the tour via the same method.

Grand total of this bespoke shore excursion: 1650 Euros

30% deposit needed no later than the 16th of October 2025: 495 Euros

Final 70% needed no later than 15 days prior to the start of the tour: 1155 Euros

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour more than 15 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge the 30% deposit only.
– If you cancel your tour between 14 and 8 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 60% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 40%.
– If you cancel your tour between 7 and 3 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 80% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 20%.
– If you cancel your tour 2 days or less prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration, activities and services included in the trip.
