24th of May 2025: bespoke Cadiz shore excursion to Seville
–
8:30am: meet your personal local host outside the gates of Cadiz port and be transferred in a modern and comfortable minibus with a dedicated driver to Seville old town. Along the way, your personal local host will set the context for your stay in the city by giving you some general information about the city’s history, economy, culture, traditions and general character.

10am: upon arrival to the city of Seville, be taken on a private walking tour of the iconic Jewish quarter and of its most impressive World Heritage Site: the Alcázar. The Alcazar of Seville is a massive complex of palaces erected in different periods by different monarchs and it features a fascinating combination of Hispanic Muslim and Christian architecture styles called Mudéjar that is unique to Spain. There you will also be taken to visit the iconic House of Trade, which was the institution that managed all trade with the new world when Seville held the monopoly of this industry. Another highlight of the Alcazar are its exquisite gardens, designed in different periods. After touring the Alcazar, you will be taken on walking tour of the quarter of Santa Cruz which keeps its original Hispanic-Muslim urban planning and traditional architecture to a very large extent and features countless charming corners and cosy squares in a delightful maze of narrow streets.

12:30pm: after your introductory walking tour, enjoy a tapas tasting lunch in a selected tapas bar in Seville old town. Your lunch will include a selection of 6 – 9 tapas dishes to share and up to 3 drinks per person (beer, wine, refreshments, water). During lunch, your personal local host will give share insiders information about Southern Spanish gastronomy, wine and beer.

1:45pm: after lunch, enjoy a private walking tour of the Cathedral of Seville which is the largest gothic temple in the world and where Christopher Columbus is buried. The Cathedral of Seville was erected on the grounds where a former Mosque was and it keeps some beautiful remains of it as well as stunning sections of gothic, renaissance, baroque and neoclassical style. At the end of your visit to the Cathedral you may want to climb to the top of its bell tower, a former minaret offering very impressive 360º views of Seville city.

3pm: reconnect with your driver at a previously agreed meeting point and be transferred back to the port of Cadiz taking a panoramic drive around the coastal perimeter of the city to see its impressive defensive architecture and enjoy the views of the legendary by of Cadiz.

4:50pm: arrival to the port of Cadiz and end of services for the day.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this private tour we need full payment no later than the 29th of April 2025 via credit/debit card.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour more than 15 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 30% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 70%.
– If you cancel your tour between 14 and 8 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 50% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 50%.
– If you cancel your tour between 7 and 4 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 70% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 30%.
– If you cancel your tour 3 days or less prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration, activities and services included in the trip.
