4th of October: bespoke day trip from Seville to the bay of Cadiz

8:30am: meet your personal local host at your accommodation in Seville and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan with a dedicated driver to the marina of the coastal town of El Puerto de Santa María on the bay of Cádiz. Along the way, you will be explained about the geography, culture, lifestyle and general character of this iconic region in Southern Spain.

10am: upon arrival to the marina of el Puerto de Santa María, be introduced to your captain and board a 12m sailboat to start your adventures at sea. During 3h you will sail across the bay of Cadiz enjoying its peculiar landscape of fishing towns, nature reserves and unspoilt beaches. You will also be explained the many historical events that have happened in the water of the bay during the last 5 centuries. During the sailing trip you will also be offered a drink, some morning snacks and the possibility to anchor for you to jump in the Atlantic Ocean if you like.

1pm: after your sailing trip, reconnect with your driver and be transferred to the old town of El Puerto de Santa María.

1:20pm: upon arrival enjoy a local lunch in a carefully selected tapas and wines bar.

3pm: end of lunch and small guided tour of El Puerto de Santa María old town aimed at learning about its colonial history and about its period of maximum splendor, when the local wines (sherries) became probably the most fashionable drinks in the world.

4pm: end of the walking tour and private transfer back to Seville.

5:30pm: arrival to Seville and end of services for the day.

This price includes

– Personal local host (a knowledgeable, personable, kind, flexible and interactive fully licensed guide with a great command of the English language) throughout the day.
– 3h sailing trip across the bay of Cadiz with one drink and some morning bites onboard.
– Lunch in a carefully selected local tapas and wines bar in El Puerto de Santa María old town including a selection of 7 – 10 dishes to share and up to 3 drinks per person (beer, wine, refreshments, water).
– Petrol and parkings.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this day trip we require full payment via credit/debit card no later than the 23rd of September 2023.

Cancellation policy
If you cancel your day trip between 10 and 8 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 30% of the full cost of the day trip and we will refund the remaining 70%.
If you cancel your day trip between 7 and 6 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 50% of the full cost of the day trip and we will refund the remaining 50%.
If you cancel your day trip between 5 and 4 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 70% of the full cost of the day trip and we will refund the remaining 30%.
If you cancel your day trip 3 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the day trip.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration and activities of the day trip.
(**) If due to the weather conditions (which we will know 2 days prior to the start of the tour) the sailing trip is not doable, we will give you a full refund or an alternative option to that part of the day trip.
