21st of February: bespoke private day trip from Jerez to the National Park of Doñana
–
8am: meet your personal local host for the day at your hotel and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle with a dedicated driver to the Southern bank of the Guadalquivir River in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Along the way, you will be given some explanations about the geography, culture, history and traditions of the area that are most connected to the area where the National Park of Doñana is today.

8:30am: upon arrival to the Southern bank of the river, be assisted by your local host to cross the river on a designated boat for the purpose.

9am: upon arrival to the Doñana side of the river, you will be met by your personal nature expert who will take you on a 4×4 vehicle through the coastal and non-coastal eco-systems of the southern section of the park. This will allow you to understand the variety of eco-systems that the national park features and to also learn about the different species that live both permanently and temporarily in these areas. You will be provided with all the necessary birdwatching equipment (binoculars, a telescope and nature guidebooks).

1pm: end of your tour at the Northern banks of the river. Then embark the boat again to cross to the Southern bank of the river.

1:30pm: upon arrival to the Southern Section of the river, you may want to be taken for lunch in Sanlúcar to enjoy the fabulous gastronomy of the area.

3pm: end of lunch and private transfer back to your hotel in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle with a dedicated driver.

3:30pm: arrival to your hotel and end of services for the day.

– Personal escort guide from Genuine Andalusia throughout the journey (a knowledgeable, personable, kind, flexible and interactive fully licensed guide).
– Return boat transfers from the south bank of the Guadalquivir to the north bank.
– Private 4h tour of Doñana National Park in a land rover vehicle with a dedicated expert guide on the natural park, its ecosystems, its flora, its fauna and its geology.
– Binoculars, telescope and nature guidebooks for the 4 x 4 tour.

This price excludes
– Lunch. Your personal local host will take you for lunch in Sanlucar to a restaurant suited to your preferences but the cost of lunch is not included.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this bespoke private day trip we need a 30% deposit of the grand total no later than the 1st of February 2023 via credit/debit card. The final 70% must be paid via the same method no later than 7 days prior to the start of the tour.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel this tour more than 7 days prior to scheduled departure we will charge the 30% deposit only.
– If you cancel this tour between 6 and 5 days prior to scheduled departure we will charge 50% of the full cost of the tour.
– If you cancel this tour between 4 and 3 days prior to scheduled departure we will charge 70% of the full cost of the tour.
– If you cancel this tour 2 days or less prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour.
