9am: meet your personal driver at your hotel in Madrid and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to Toledo old town.

Toledo is a fascinating city that during the middle ages saw a period of extreme intellectual development thanks to the coexistence of Jews, Muslims and Christians. This splendor continued until the 16th century when the city actually became the capital of Spain and one of the most prosperous in the country. Visiting Toledo will give you an excellent overview of an important part of the history and architecture of Spain.

10am: upon arrival to Toledo, meet your personal local host and start a panoramic tour that will take you to see excellent views of the city and to learn about its strategic location. After this introduction, be driven into town to start a private walking tour of the old city quarters with a special focus on its Jewish, Hispanic-Muslim and Christian history and legacy.

Along your tour you will visit the synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, which is an extraordinary example of the Jewish-Sephardic heritage of the city. You will then visit the former mosque of El Cristo de la Luz in order to learn about the Hispanic-Muslim legacy of the city. Finally, to top up your tour you will visit the Cathedral of Toledo, which is one of the most important ones ever erected in Spain.

2pm: end of your private walking tour of Toledo and free time for lunch at leisure before your return to Madrid.

3:30pm: reconnect with your driver and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to the iconic windmills of Campo de Criptana in the heart of Castilla La Mancha.

4:40pm: arrival to the mills and free time to walk amongst them, take pictures ande enjoy the long distance landscapes of central Spain.

5:30pm: reconnect with your driver and be transferred back to your accommodation in Madrid.

7:15pm: arrival to your accommodation in Madrid and end of services for the day.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this private day trip we require full payment no later than the 16th of October 2025 via credit/debit card.

Grand total of this bespoke day trip: 1380 Euros

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour more than 8 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 60% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 40%.
– If you cancel your tour between 7 and 3 days prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 80% of the grand total of the tour and we will refund the remaining 20%.
– If you cancel your tour 2 days or less prior to scheduled departure, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration, activities and services included in the trip.
