Description and schedule of services

22nd of December: arrival to Madrid and day at leisure in the city

8:55am: upon arrival of your flight to Madrid airport (American Airlines Flight 740), collect your luggage and walk to the arrivals hall. Your personal driver will be waiting for you there holding a sign saying “Deborah Ledley – Genuine Andalusia”. Then be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan to your hotel in Madrid.
10:30am (estimated): upon arrival to your hotel in Madrid, enjoy your day at leisure. We will be on top of things so you can occupy your rooms as soon as possible. In any case, you will be able to drop off your luggage at the hotel. We will give you recommendations of things to do and see in the city and of places to eat too.
Overnight in Madrid: two preferential rooms with balcony and breakfast included (one with a double bed and one with twin beds) in Grand Hotel Inglés (5*)

23rd of December: private transportation service for a self-guided day trip to Segovia

9am: meet your personal driver at your accommodation and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to Segovia.
10:20am: upon arrival to Segovia old town, enjoy some free time at leisure to see the city. You will have your driver at your disposal in case you need him. We will give you recommendations of things to do and see in Segovia and of places to eat too. We will also book a table for you if you like.
3pm: after lunch, reconnect with your driver and be transferred back to Madrid.
4:30pm: arrival to your hotel in Madrid and rest of the day at leisure.

24th of December: from Madrid to Granada vía Córdoba to tour the Great Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish quarter

6:30am: meet your personal driver at your accommodation and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan to Madrid train station.
6:50am: arrival to Madrid train station on time to take your train to Córdoba at 7:25am.
7:25am: departure of your high-speed train to Córdoba (1st class seats).
9:17am: upon arrival on your train to Córdoba, walk to the arrivals hall and meet your personal driver there. He will be holding a sign saying “Deborah Ledley – Genuine Andalusia”. Then be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan to Córdoba old town.
9:45am: upon arrival to Córdoba old town be met by your personal local host to go on a 3’5h discovery journey of the historical center of the city. Your driver will stay in the minivan with your luggage.
Your tour will take you first to visit the Great Mosque Cathedral (including its bell tower) and the synagogue. Then together, with your guide you can decide what else to see and pay the corresponding tickets locally.
1:15pm: end of your tour and free time for lunch at leisure. We will give you recommendations of places to eat and will book a table for you if you wish.
3pm: reconnect with your driver at a previously agreed meeting point and be transferred from Córdoba old town to your hotel in Granada.
5:15pm: arrival to your hotel in Granada and end of services for the day. We will give you recommendations of things to do and see in Granada during your free time and also of places to eat. We will also book tables for you if you wish.

26th of December: private tour of the Alhambra and el Generalife in the morning, free time for lunch at leisure and private transfer from Granada to Seville

9am: be met by your personal local host at your accommodation and be transferred by taxi (1 big or 2 small ones) to the top of the hill of la Sabika, where the Alhambra and el Generalife are located. Please be checked-out from your hotel but leave your luggage there until the afternoon.
9:15am: upon arrival to the Alhambra, be taken on a private walking tour of this palatial city which is the most exquisite example of the Hispanic-Muslim architecture. The Alhambra was the city where the Hispanic-Muslim sultans used to live with their army, their court and some selected artisans. Because of this, it has several parts, all of which you will get to visit during your tour while you understand the role that each of them had. Later you will visit the summer palace or Generalife. This is the place where the sultans would go to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Alhambra. It was a place designed for relaxation and contemplation and because of this, it has the most beautiful gardens and some of the nicest views that the city of Granada has to offer.
1pm: after your tour of the Alhambra, enjoy some free time in the city for lunch at leisure.
2:30pm: meet your personal driver at your accommodation in Granada and be transferred from there to your hotel in Seville.
5:15pm: arrival to your hotel in Seville and rest of the evening at leisure. We will give you recommendations of things to do and see in Seville and of places to eat too. We will book tables for you if you wish.

28th of December: private transportation for a self-guided day trip to see the horse performance in the Royal School of Equestrian Art. Then flight to Barcelona

9am: meet your personal local driver at your accommodation and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan to the city of Jerez de la Frontera.
10:15am: upon arrival to Jerez, enjoy some free time at leisure to see the city. We will give you recommendations. Your driver will remain at your disposal in case you need him.
11:30am: be at the Royal School of Equestrian Art to see the performance “how the Andalusian horses dance” (it starts at 12pm), which includes different parts with classic country riding, dressage and horse carriage driving performed by Olympic riders.
1:30pm: after the show, enjoy some free time for lunch in the surroundings of the school (we will give you recommendations).
2:45pm: after lunch, reconnect with your driver at be transferred to Seville airport.
4:10pm: arrival to Seville airport on time to catch your flight to Barcelona at 6:10pm.
6:10pm: departure of your flight from Seville airport to Barcelona airport.
7:50pm: upon arrival of your flight to Barcelona airport (VY2217), collect your luggage and walk to the arrivals hall. Your personal driver will be waiting for you there holding a sign saying “Deborah Ledley – Genuine Andalusia”. Then be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan to your hotel in Barcelona.

– High-speed train tickets (1st class seats) to travel from Madrid to Córdoba on the 24th of December.
– Taxi ride to get from your hotel to the Alhambra.
– Admission to the horse show at the Royal School of Equestrian Art in Jerez (1st or 2nd row seats).
– Domestic flight from Seville to Barcelona with vueling airlines (a subsidiary of Iberia) and including (per person) a luggage allowance of a checked-in bag of up to 20kg, a cabin bag of up to 10kg (55 x 40 x 20cm maximum) and a small handbag.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this bespoke trip at this price we require a 20% deposit of the grand total via credit/debit card and your full names, nationality, passport numbers, dates of birth and expiry date of your passports no later than the 6th of October 2023 at 11:59pm (Madrid time). The final 80% must be paid via the same method no later than 30 days prior to the start of the trip.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your trip more than 30 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge the 20% deposit only.
– If you cancel your trip between 30 and 15 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 30% of the full cost of the trip and we will refund the remaining 70%.
– If you cancel your trip between 14 and 8 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 40% of the full cost of the trip and we will refund the remaining 60%.
– If you cancel your trip between 7 and 4 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 50% of the full cost of the trip and we will refund the remaining 50%.
– If you cancel your trip 3 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the trip.
(*) If Spain closes its borders due to a national or global emergency and you are not able to enter the country due to this closure, we will give you a full refund.
(**) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration / activities of the trip.
