Description and schedule of services

9:40am: meet your personal biologist at the door of your hotel and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes minivan with child seats with a dedicated driver to the animal rescue centre of Castellar.

10am: upon arrival to the animal rescue centre, take a private tour with your personal biologist aimed a learning about the role of the center (helping animals that are sold in the exotic animal black market between Africa and Europe and that are intercepted by the police) to later enjoy seeing the animals, learning about their origin, habitat and behaviour and interacting with them.

12pm: after your tour be transferred to the border between Spain and Gibraltar.

12:30pm: upon arrival to the border between Spain and Gibraltar, be dropped off by your driver there and cross on foot (passports needed) to the British side.

Once on the British side, enjoy some free time for a bite at leisure before your private tour of the city with your Gibraltarian driver guide.

1:30pm: meet your personal Gibraltarian driver guide for a 2’5h tour of the city.
Along this tour, you will learn about the origins, history and present social composition, local dynamics and general character of the city. You will also enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, of the Mediterranean Sea, of the African continent and of Spain from the top of the rock, which is a protected nature reserve with indigenous monkeys. There you will be able to interact with the monkeys, learn about their habitat, their habits and about the theories there are about their arrival to the Iberian Peninsula from Africa.

You will also learn the important role that the city played during WWII while you visit some unique remaining infrastructures that were created during this period in the city.
Your visit will also take you to visit the caves of Saint Michael and to drive along the scenic coastal road that surrounds the city. You will understand the interaction that there is between this British city and the neighboring Spanish town of la Línea the la Concepción and how this has generated a very particular economy in the area throughout the decades.

4pm: after your tour, you will be dropped at the British side of the border, then make your way to the Spanish side and reconnect with your Spanish driver there to get to your hotel in Grazalema with a quick stopover in Ronda to see the New Bridge, the views from it and also the views from the bottom of the Ronda Gorge.

6:45pm: arrival to your hotel in Grazalema and end of services for the day.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this change of itinerary to add a 2,5h tour of Gibraltar with your own personal driver guide and all entrance tickets as well as a stopover in Ronda we would need full payment (880€) no later than the 22nd of March at 7:45pm (Madrid time).
