13th of September 2025: private Cadiz shore excursion to Seville

9am: meet your personal driver outside the gates of Cadiz port and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to Plaza de España, an iconic landmark just outside Seville old town.

10:25am: upon arrival to Plaza de España, meet your personal guide and enjoy a private walking tour of the site, which is most iconic construction from the 1929 Iberian-American exhibition that took place in Seville.

After your tour of Plaza de España, reconnect with your driver and be transferred to Seville old town with your guide to take a tour of the Cathedral and of the Jewish quarter. The Cathedral of Seville is the largest gothic church in the world and where Christopher Columbus is buried. This prominent temple was erected on the grounds where a former Mosque was and it keeps some beautiful remains of it as well as stunning sections of gothic, renaissance, baroque and neoclassical style. At the end of your visit to the Cathedral you may want to climb to the top of its bell tower, a former minaret offering very impressive 360º views of Seville city.

After touring the Cathedral, you will be taken on walking tour of the quarter of Santa Cruz which keeps its original Hispanic-Muslim urban planning and traditional architecture to a very large extent and features countless charming corners and cosy squares in a delightful maze of narrow streets. During this part of the tour you will take a stop for a quick tapas lunch including a selection of up to 6 – 9 tapas dishes to share and up to 3 drinks per person.

Then, top up your day with a visit to the Alcazar. The Alcazar of Seville is a massive complex of palaces erected in different periods by different monarchs and it features a fascinating combination of Hispanic Muslim and Christian architecture styles called Mudéjar that is unique to Spain. There you will also be taken to visit the iconic House of Trade, which was the institution that managed all trade with the new world when Seville held the monopoly of this industry.

2:30pm: reconnect with your driver at a previously agreed meeting point (your guide will leave you in his hands) and be transferred back to the port of Cadiz

4pm: arrival to the port of Cadiz and end of services for the day.
