Date TBC: private day trip from Madrid to Avila and Segovia

9am: meet your personal driver at your accommodation and be transferred in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle to Segovia.

10:20am: upon arrival to Segovia old town, pick up your personal local host, who will get on the minivan with you to start a short panoramic tour of the city followed by a private walking tour of the historical centre.

Along your walking tour you will visit the three historic gems of the city, which are its Roman Aqueduct, its Cathedral and its Alcazar (a fortification of Roman Origin later used and transformed by different civilizations). Your tour will also allow you to enjoy the mediaeval charm of the quarters of the old city which feature palaces, cute little squares, quaint alleyways, an iconic old Jewish section and the main square of the city (plaza mayor).

1:20pm: end of your walking tour and free time for lunch at leisure. We will give you recommendations and will book a table for you if you wish.

3pm: after lunch, reconnect with your driver and be transferred to Avila.

4pm: upon arrival to Avila, meet your personal local host in the city and start a private walking tour that will take you to enjoy some selected spots both inside and outside the perfectly preserved medieval city walls. You will see Avila’s mediaeval squares, noble houses and impressive temples as well as its prominent defensive walls. The highlight of your walk will be the Romanesque Basilica of San Vicente, which is one of the greatest examples of Romanesque and Gothic architecture in Spain.

6pm: after your tour of Avila, reconnect with your driver and be transferred back to your hotel in Madrid.

7:15pm: arrival to your hotel in Madrid and end of services for the day.

Confirmation and payments
In order to confirm this tour we would need to know your preferred date and full payment no later than the 29th of September 2025 via credit/debit card.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your tour program more than 4 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 60% of the grand total of the tour program and we will refund the remaining 40%.
– If you cancel your tour program 3 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the tour program.
(*) Please note that partial cancellations won’t result in partial refunds. This applies to the group size and to the duration, services and activities included in the tour program.
