Description and schedule of services

9:15am: private transfer from hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville to Jerez in a modern and comfortable Mercedes vehicle with your own personal driver.

10:30m: arrival to Jerez, meeting with your personal sherry host and private short walking tour of the old town, to learn about the impact that the sherry industry had in the architecture, urban planning, social composition and overall character of the city.

11am: end of the walking tour in a selected sherry bodega and private tour of the bodega to understand the aging process of the different sherries, followed by the corresponding tastings.

12:30pm: private transfer from the bodega to a selected private vineyard in the outskirts of Jerez.

12:50pm: arrival to the vineyard and private tour with the owner to understand the particularities of the soil, of the climate, of the vines and of the grapes that make sherry so unique. Tasting of the sherries that the owner makes and ages only for his family in his private sherry bodega, accompanied by a selection of tapas.

2:30pm: private transfer from the vineyard to a selected local restaurant in Jerez for lunch.

2:50pm: arrival to the restaurant and lunch there based on a selection of local dishes, paired with different sherries.

4:30pm: end of lunch and of the services of your local host and private transfer back to Seville.

5:45pm: arrival to your hotel in Seville and end of services for the day.

– Personal local host from Genuine Andalusia (a knowledgeable, personable, kind, flexible and interactive fully licensed guide) throughout your stay in Jerez (6h).
– Private visit to a selected sherry bodega with the corresponding sherry tastings there.
– Private visit to a selected sherry vineyard in the country, just outside Jerez including tastings of the sherries that the owner makes and ages only for him and his family and accompanied by a selection of light tapas.
– Lunch in a selected traditional restaurant in Jerez including 2 starters to share with your personal local host, one main course, dessert, wine and water.

In order to confirm this private day trip we require full payment no later than the 18th of August 2023 via credit/debit card.

Cancellation policy
– If you cancel your day trip more than 10 days prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 30% of the full cost of the day trip and will refund the other 70%.
– If you cancel your day trip between 10 and 7 prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 50% of the full cost of the day trip and will refund the other 50%.
– If you cancel your day trip between 6 and 4 prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 70% of the full cost of the day trip and will refund the other 30%.
– If you cancel your day trip 3 days or less prior to its scheduled start, we will charge 100% of the full cost of the day trip.
